You win, you move up. The PFFL is not a high stakes league, and it's not some wacky new game that totally changes the way you play. It's traditional fantasy football like you know and love - you'll join a 12-team league and play a full season of games amongst your league.
The twist comes at the end of the year -- the best teams from each league will win cash prizes, and then
move up to a higher-"tier" league for the following year. There is no limit to how big this thing can get -- we will add additional tiers each year to include more players. As The PFFL grows from hundreds to thousands to
millions of teams, the best of the best will rise to the top and compete for some
huge prizes.

Each year, The PFFL establishes fixed prizes to be offered for the season, where you have a chance to win prizes based on which tier your team is in. Since there is no limit to how big The PFFL can become, as we grow the prizes will grow right along with it. So imagine: as the number of players in The PFFL goes from hundreds, to thousands, to millions of players some day, the prizes will grow to MILLIONS of dollars as well!
For 2012, we've fixed a prize pool of
$12,000 -- see below for a full breakdown, but here's the basic idea: Tier-1 pays out $3,200, Tier-2 pays out $800 per league, and Tier-3 pays out $200 per league. Get it? The higher your tier, the bigger the prizes. But that's not all -- we've got
$2,400 in BONUS PRIZES for things like Weekly Top Score and Highest Power Ranking that will allow even our lowest-tier teams to have a shot at big money your first year. Plus,

live in Las Vegas! The PFFL will descend on Vegas for a crazy weekend of fantasy football, with a live Tier-1 draft as our centerpiece. Anyone can join, but the plan is to grow bigger and bigger every year until the PFFL basically takes over Vegas on Draft Weekend. Just imagine "World Series of Poker" meets Mardi Gras meets Bachelor Party and you'll get the idea...
Every league plays by it's own rules, right? Not anymore -- in the PFFL, everyone plays by the exact same rules so that you have an apples-to-apples comparison across every league in the PFFL. This is a game-changer: now when you tell your friends that you can kick their ass in Fantasy Football, you can actually prove it whether you're in the same league or not.
